  1. @RobHalford92 Ah, it will not remove branding, it will just unlock your phone’s SIM side and the internal memory, so you get full access to flash any ROMs or whatever :) Reboot while land volume down, and you will get to bootloader.

@jkoljonen so he used a ROM? as i say im new to this, there was a mention of a RUU but im not sure what it is

  3. @RobHalford92 He used… Hmm, well that is sweet much the point of S-OFF, to be able to flash ROMs. RUU is official HTC ROM. I suggest you do some conception in XDA-Developers now.

    cheers

  9. @RedStyla Hi, yes it is :)

@jkoljonen I can’t do it :( I have senmsg error all the time

  14. HTC Desire HD ( ACE ) 2.3.3 not s-off, system check ( HTC waterproof system “root” ) S-OFF does not work yet even the folks at XDA managed to break the system.
    Fakeeeee…

  15. @11mansidao61 Don’t come here shouting “fake” when you observably do not even know what you are talking about. You just blew your chance to get help.

2.37 can now be downgraded :) Look at XDA people :D

  17. 11mansidao61 on July 4th, 2011 at 2:07 pm

Sorry, I’m not saying that I am, but the folks at XDA, only root OPEN, S-OFF blocked,

    Firmware Version ( 1.32.405.6 )
    ACE PVT SHIP S-ON
    HBOOT-0.85.0007
    MICROP-0438
    RADIO-26.03.02.26_M
    OCT 11 2010

All attempts were made radio unlock the S-ON
HTC Desire Tools HD Radio, and starts sending in 80% and hangs, does not work.
Again sorry meant no fault, excellent was the initiative of the record, but for some versions not working.

  18. Why I can’t access to the bootloader? I have DesireHD from Telus network.

  19. tweaks, custom roms and kernels available for desire hd can be applied to incredible s too ? … because incredible s section looks like it has fewer custom roms , though it has same h/w as DHD … ?

I’m not gloating or anything- but this was a hell of a lot simpler when I rooted my Desire with Unrevoked. Click and it’s done versus potential failure through the visionary app (at least it allows unrooting if you need a warranty thing). Still want a Desire HD regardless though :D

  21. @jkoljonen hi just a instant question would this method work even when installed OTA 2.3.3 update to inspire? plz let me know thanks! bubby’s method wont work. cheers!

  22. @dinker3213 install superuser and check for the allow/deny on your device
